The old saying ‘seeing is believing’ quite appropriately defines the importance and necessity of an eye sight. As a renowned ophthalmologist Dr Madhusmita has been helping people for seeing the beautiful world around us.

She completed her bachelors in medicine and surgery(MBBS) followed by MS in ophthalmology from MKCG MCH Odisha. During her post-graduation she held the apex rank in her batch and awarded for the same. Like another feather to her cap she had done her fellowship from orbit and oculoplasty from LVPEI, Bhubaneswar. She has a vast experience of 20 years in wide range of cataract {manual SICS and Phacoemulsification( topical)} and various oculoplasty (obstructed tear duct, various lid surgeries, various eye lid tumours, Thyroid eye disorders, Botox injections, cosmetic procedures) and orbital surgeries. She engraved her name in the medical field through various national and state journal publications. As an active member in ophthalmology society, she has been participating in numerous conferences and was involved in various academic activities.

She is a passionate professional with a firm grip on advanced technical methodologies, as well as an empathetic soul who stretches a helping hand to others.
